Lock after two hours of inactivity
2026.10.13-inactivite-2h ·
Delivered build : 038a37a5664fae5f4fd5b4a79266d9df344bb7ea
Changes
- The inactivity lock timeout is now 120 minutes for every existing laboratory, including previously customised timeouts.
- New laboratories also default to 120 minutes. Their administrators can still choose a duration between 1 and 1,440 minutes.
- The change is recorded as a system migration with the previous duration, new duration and revision, without attributing it to a laboratory administrator.
Known limitations
- This is an interface inactivity lock, distinct from token expiry or automatic server-side sign-out.
- Open, unlocked sessions receive the new timeout at their next policy check. An already locked session still requires unlocking.
