2026.10.16-multi-etudes-titres-analyses · 2026-10-17
- A run can be linked to several studies: a member of one study sees the run and its steps, but only the samples and results of that study.
- A run's attachment to an aim or an experiment can be changed from the study panel, and attached work now shows the date next to the user.
- Each session gets a title proposed at launch (protocol, date, client) that can be edited later; it is frozen when the study deliverable is signed and every rename is recorded in the audit trail. Experiments are also offered at launch.
- Otto can compose an analysis workbook that groups values from several runs by sample, with a link to the session each row comes from.
- Otto picks a tool proportionate to the request and stops with a readable message when it asks for the same thing twice, instead of looping.
- A protocol draft can be submitted for approval without going back to edit mode, and a version identical to the previous one is rejected.
- The protocol page uses the full width and shows a clickable step outline that follows scrolling.
- The 3D screensaver scene uses far less resources (15 frames per second, automatic quality reduction), recovers after a graphics context loss and shows a readable fallback when WebGL is unavailable.
- Security hardening: authentication, device frames broadcast to the team only, redacted logs, location creation restricted to operators, updated dependencies.
- First team setup, translations, theme and graph readability fixed.
2026.10.16-fidelite-import-protocoles · 2026-10-16
- Tables in the document are now taken one at a time: a thermocycler program and a reaction mix described in the same section become two separate steps, each with its own table, instead of a single table for both.
- A reaction mix table gets a total volume column computed from the number of reactions, which recomputes when that number is changed before running the experiment.
- Variables proposed by Otto are normalised and their references follow the renaming, so the calculations actually run in the steps instead of staying inert text.
- The step calendar no longer goes backwards: days form an increasing sequence derived from the document.
- Parameterising a long protocol is now handled in batches of steps; beyond a certain length it previously returned nothing at all.
2026.10.16-import-protocoles-longs · 2026-10-16
- A protocol whose extraction exceeds what Otto can return in one go is no longer lost: the steps already extracted are kept and the rest is requested, up to three continuations, preserving the order and day of each step.
- If the document is still too long after these continuations, the message says so and suggests splitting it, instead of suggesting to retry the import.
2026.10.16-regressions-pr71 · 2026-10-16
- Platform announcements, invitations and other features open to every account no longer answer “subscription required” to an account without a subscription; only subscriber features ask for one.
- When the tablet or browser cannot reach the server (network down, waking before Wi-Fi, timeout), the session is no longer locked because of it: the last accepted policy keeps applying, inactivity lock included. A refusal from the server still closes the session.
- A colleague scanning a tube on a run started by someone else now gets the tube link recorded, even without the right to attach the run to the study; a refused scan gets a clear answer instead of an error replayed endlessly offline.
- If attaching a run to a study fails during preparation, the selected tubes are no longer lost. For a research scope, the screen now states that the tubes were not linked.
- A loss or stock adjustment on a quarantined lot keeps its link to the receipt: requalifying the receipt as compliant releases the lot again.
2026.10.15-navigation-traductions · 2026-10-15
- Plate and well labels in session history, roles in settings, the storage overview link and the preparation unit field now follow the interface language.
- The files panel starts with an empty state when the object, user or laboratory changes; late responses and notifications from the previous context are discarded.
- Sample preparation waits for scheduled-session details to load before displaying its form, without subsequently overwriting choices entered manually.
2026.10.15-analyses-journal-finalisation · 2026-10-15
- Signed measurements added to a session after an execution ends can be discovered and used in Analysis, with access checks on both the session and the execution.
- Copying cells from Excel into the note editor creates an editable table rather than the spreadsheet’s preview image.
- Finalizing older executions preserves steps whose historical title is missing, without replacing their content with the current protocol.
- Stock deduction calculations triggered by finalization no longer backfill planned reagents into the execution’s historical source.
- When an essential historical source is unavailable, the local copy and its manifest are retained, with an explicit block and manual retry.
- Known statuses of objects selected in Otto follow the interface’s French or English language.
2026.10.15-confidentialite-analyses · 2026-10-15
- Reading computed results and figures also checks access to the data used in the calculation.
- Reports, exports and dossiers reject the whole document when an analysis it contains is inaccessible, rather than returning a partial document presented as complete.
- Analysis screens and widgets discard stale results or late responses after an identity change or an access refusal.
- Three actions for reopening Otto proposals now have French and English labels.
2026.10.15-execution-traductions · 2026-10-15
- New submissions, approvals and executions report missing, incorrectly numbered or unusable protocol steps.
- Incomplete historical records remain readable without replacing their content with the current protocol version.
- More labels and help text in the protocol editor, calendar and inventory screens are available in French and English.
- Deviation fields now have permanent labels.
2026.10.15-notes-resultats · 2026-10-15
- Otto can prepare edits to an existing note, with a rich-text and table preview before explicit saving.
- Proposals retain the version actually read; a concurrent change prevents the note from being overwritten.
- Measurement series remain available after an execution ends, with a separate signature for each result.
- Switching to a note or file preserves the draft series without saving hidden measurements; incomplete rows remain available after signing.
2026.10.15-securite-commandes · 2026-10-15
- Strengthen the rules governing changes to order lines after confirmation.
- Update components used for text editing, spreadsheet imports and email delivery.
2026.10.14-otto-optimisation · 2026-10-14
- Lab workflows brings together incoming items, materials, experiments and quality points using the team data the user can access.
- Two separate dashboard widgets are available: Lab workflows and Otto suggestions.
- Records, previews and edit links lead to the native business screens; suggestions send a question to Otto only after an explicit click.
- Otto selects tools relevant to the request domain: protocols, stock, sessions or research.
- Requests spanning several domains retain the relevant tools; unrecognised requests retain the full catalogue.
- After a simple protocol modification has been verified and its proposal recorded, Otto presents it directly without an additional model summary call.
2026.10.14-otto-protocoles · 2026-10-14
- Align text imports with the 20,000-character limit and provide a precise validation reason when rejected.
- Align Otto instructions with configurable days and recognise variables used in day formulas.
- Make structured adaptation available after protocol lookup and for more natural request wording.
- Correct proposals for the same protocol: present only the latest complete validated proposal, without implicit accumulation.
- Report identical rejected proposals without re-executing them and clarify limits and supported operations.
- Preserve variables, incubations, equipment, parameters and tables in prefilled creation until human saving.
- Support the exact approved version, variable values and Research project and Aim links when scheduling.
2026.10.14-executions-recherche · 2026-10-14
- Resume steps and incubations from their persisted records, retaining completion after notification dismissal.
- The 3D screensaver is suspended during an execution; security locking keeps the configured delay.
- Attach executions to research projects and optionally their Aims, with visibility checks on related data.
- The editor exposes sub-actions, notes, checks and gestures, and separates reference tables from data-entry tables.
- Day formulas using protocol parameters calculate and preview dates before scheduling from the exact approved version.
- Result signing explains what the user confirms, with examples for adding, amending and importing results.
- Fix premature locking at sign-in when the authentication server clock is slightly ahead of the browser clock.
- Incubation overtime is displayed after the deadline and recorded as a deviation, preserving the first observation and the final duration at validation.
- Preserve visibility of historical stock movements and study links on legacy sessions.
2026.10.14-approbations-lisibles · 2026-10-14
- Exact versions present steps, parameters and instructions in a readable view without raw JSON.
- The signature dialog keeps its fields and actions accessible, including for long protocols.
- The approval queue clearly indicates how to review and approve a version or use the justified administrator exception.
- Personal reading uses the same presentation of the retained version and its files.
2026.10.14-bons-livraison · 2026-10-14
- From a document reviewed after Otto extraction, choose an order and match its items before receiving.
- Receipt rows preserve distinct lots and source files without implicit merging.
- The receiving form uses the extracted information and stays editable before confirmation.
- Confirmed receipts use the existing lot and stock-movement workflow without an additional inventory import.
- Before an Otto import, choose a language and add instructions; file names stay visible and starting is acknowledged only after acceptance.
- Protocol imports show ongoing parameter preparation and elapsed time without retaining a stale percentage.
- An administrator may exceptionally approve their own version after a warning, explicit reason and personal signature; the exception is identified in the history.
2026.10.14-stocks-connexion · 2026-10-14
- Storage search keeps matching locations in their parent hierarchy and distinguishes unverified contents from empty locations.
- Inventory forms retain drafts while configuring storage and show full location paths.
- Incomplete receipts can be completed without creating another arrival; quantities refer to the received parcel, and failed lines can be retried.
- Stock actions respect user roles, while optional quantities and units remain explicit.
- The real sign-in form is more compact, background framing is stable, and failures to remember the browser for thirty days are reported.
- Receipt completion has a readable label in the audit log.
2026.10.13-erreurs-connexion · 2026-10-13
- New illustrated French and English screens for errors 401,403,404,429,500,502,503,504 and failed offline reads.
- Unknown routes, React crashes and access guards use the new screens; the four main Studies, Clients, Samples and Reagents reads show known HTTP errors without treating SQL codes as HTTP errors.
- A read-error screen closes without replaying the action, preserves the page and drafts, ignores stale responses, and leaves session locking with keyboard priority.
- New sign-in layout: Otto illustration, form and QR on the left, top-left logo, plus a mobile contrast layer for error messages.
2026.10.13-trace · 2026-10-13
- Added “A day in Otto life” to the Tracking widgets: a public 3D scene with a camera following the robot.
- Laboratory-configurable screensaver, separate from session locking: five minutes before the screensaver by default, preserving the existing configured locking delay.
- The screensaver shows Biotraxion and the time in white; a click or Escape returns to the application before locking, or shows the reconnect form after locking.
- Both delays can be configured in My laboratory, with permission and concurrent-edit checks; existing lock-delay updates remain compatible.
2026.10.13-otto-contexte-relecture · 2026-10-13
- Draft adaptations can describe a structured final protocol, converted into operations and checked by the same engine as the editor.
- When redefining an interactive table, its rows must be supplied explicitly: omissions are rejected rather than emptying the table.
- Variable checks recognise expressions and quantity formulas; newly added empty steps are detected after moving or renaming.
- Requests combining protocol adaptation and result consultation retain reading tools and can continue the response after a proposal.
- Superseded reads are reduced in useful context; the complete conversation record is retained.
2026.10.13-commandes-guidees · 2026-10-13
- Basket requests let users edit the number of packages and their format: box, bottle, bag, tube, kit, jar or custom text.
- All receipt fields are optional: packages, quantity, unit, batch number, expiry and note. An unspecified quantity creates no stock; an entered value adds the actual amount, without automatically converting packages.
- Orders distinguish received packages from material added to stock. If the number of packages received is unspecified, the remaining amount is indeterminate. Local help and a prepared question for Otto guide the workflow; users still choose whether to send it.
- Editing a request checks that it remains in the basket and reports concurrent changes without overwriting entered values. The action is recorded in the audit log.
- A temporarily unavailable lock policy can be fetched again without reloading the tab. Recovery preserves in-memory input and still requires fresh authentication.
- Several visible messages follow the chosen French or English language, including library, MFA and workstation errors and Otto’s expiry warning.
- Windows-1252 CSV imports explicitly decode characters such as œ and €. Exact curve-boundary signals are accepted when the calculation difference stays within one relative epsilon, without changing the calculated concentration.
- Excel previews limit the truncation work for long cells, preserving whole Unicode characters and the same safety limits.
2026.10.13-otto-brouillons · 2026-10-13
- After confirmation, Otto can create a private draft copy of an existing protocol, keeping its full content and a link to its source. The source protocol is preserved.
- The response provides an “Open draft” button to access the editor. Creation no longer depends on another model call after the draft has been saved.
- A model timeout, including while reading its response, now displays a timeout message.
- “Otto’s steps” shows model and tool calls, their durations and outcomes. A lost connection interrupts the displayed tracking without claiming that the server action has stopped.
- Each model call timeout increases from 90 to 120 seconds.
2026.10.13-inactivite-2h · 2026-10-13
- The inactivity lock timeout is now 120 minutes for every existing laboratory, including previously customised timeouts.
- New laboratories also default to 120 minutes. Their administrators can still choose a duration between 1 and 1,440 minutes.
- The change is recorded as a system migration with the previous duration, new duration and revision, without attributing it to a laboratory administrator.
2026.10.13-parcours · 2026-10-13
- Starting a scheduled execution uses its planned starting state to retain the session context.
- The client-record edit form, including research clients, sends only changed fields and their initial values. A concurrent edit conflict on those fields is reported without silently overwriting them. This protection applies to this form and does not cover every other write path.
- In the protocol editor, Prepare a version saves the draft and opens the Versions tab. Preparation, submission and signed decisions now follow the same exact-version workflow.
- Approval history shows decisions for exact versions, their identifiers and hashes, with pagination. Historical requests remain separate and failed reads can be retried.
- Note attachments have an explicit download action.
- Sample reception improves guidance, selections and the mobile layout.
- Report previews follow the selected French or English language, as downloads do. Changing the preview language within the same tab preserves unsaved composition changes.
- The audit log displays dates and times in UTC. Report warnings about signers apply to sealed results; unsealed drafts are not treated as signed results. Several messages, actions, empty states and navigation labels are aligned in French and English, including Collections and Billing.
- WebSocket relays bound the resources used by connections. This targeted change does not validate the security of the whole application.
2026.10.12-securite · 2026-10-13
- The inactivity lock setting now sits directly below two-factor authentication in Security and uses the application’s fields, buttons and colours. The unlock screen follows the same presentation.
- Administrators can require two-factor authentication for their team with a single click on a switch in the same section. Save results and errors are displayed.
- Late responses when loading or saving security settings are ignored after an account or team change, keeping the displayed settings bound to the active identity.
- Update detection resumes after an initial download fails. The fifteen-minute check, five-second idle grace period and deferral during an execution or recording are retained; activating a new worker causes a single controlled reload.
- Settings, Profile and Appearance use the full available width. The laboratory permissions matrix uses the application’s colours, translated role names and a horizontally scrollable table on mobile.
- Protocol approval actions open the Versions tab: prepare an exact state, submit it, then have it signed by a reviewer distinct from the author and submitter. Signed approval makes that version current and activates the protocol. A change after preparation requires a new version to be prepared before signing.
- The Approvals queue shows protocol versions actually awaiting review alongside accessible historical requests. Each pending version opens its own decision workflow; a failed read is shown and can be retried.
2026.10.12-versionnage · 2026-10-12
- An inactivity lock uses the organisation’s configured timeout: work in progress remains in memory, data access is suspended and resuming requires fresh authentication, with TOTP when required.
- An Application version page shows the loaded client and server builds, whether their identities match, and links to public release notes and history.
- Protocol history retains successive states. A published version freezes its content and retained files; approval requires a reviewer distinct from its author and submitter.
- Protocol reading can be assigned and tracked for each published version. Each person acknowledges reading through fresh signing bound to the exact content; opening a protocol does not sign anything.
- Administrators have a role permissions matrix. Study plans and amendments can be frozen and approved by a Study Director assigned to the study; Director and QA report signatures remain distinct.
- An optional DocuSign workflow per organisation prepares requests for an exact PDF and provides for tracking, reconciliation with provider status, and retention of the signed PDF and certificate. Use requires configuration and connection of the organisation’s account.
2026.10.12-6b668a0 · 2026-10-12
- Figure previews when creating a table; selection, colouring and visual freezing of rows and columns.
- Otto answers questions in French or English according to the question’s language.
- AIM and study codes are optional; titles remain required.
- The protocol catalogue is refreshed when opening an addition or edit in the Study Plan.
- Statistical kernel 2026.15 computes the Tukey tail directly; analyses saved under kernel 2026.14 retain their original results.
2026.10.12-cc6c00b · 2026-10-12
- Eight menus expose Analyses commands, with explanations for unavailable commands.
2026.10.12-b99de68 · 2026-10-12
- Delivery of a batch of analysis features and update to the public privacy-policy date.
