Otto: protocol and import fixes
2026.10.14-otto-protocoles ·
Delivered build : 49a2b286ccf4efd630ca47af6572b115435f617d
Changes
- Align text imports with the 20,000-character limit and provide a precise validation reason when rejected.
- Align Otto instructions with configurable days and recognise variables used in day formulas.
- Make structured adaptation available after protocol lookup and for more natural request wording.
- Correct proposals for the same protocol: present only the latest complete validated proposal, without implicit accumulation.
- Report identical rejected proposals without re-executing them and clarify limits and supported operations.
- Preserve variables, incubations, equipment, parameters and tables in prefilled creation until human saving.
- Support the exact approved version, variable values and Research project and Aim links when scheduling.
Known limitations
- Otto prepares edits; acceptance and saving remain human actions. It does not sign or approve protocols.
- The engine and paid AI phases remain unchanged. Regression checks used scripted responses and real local paths, without a paid provider benchmark.
- Tools do not yet expose every editor field, including plate layouts, gestures, checks and stock links in prefilled creation.
